Spis treści audycji
„Wieczór płytowy” 1983-1991 gatunkami

Dla pokolenia ludzi, których młodość przypadła na lata 80., a którzy byli miłośnikami muzyki popularnej we wszelkich jej nurtach, prawie każda z prezentowanych w audycji płyt z taką muzyką była ważna. A to dlatego, że muzyka była jedną z niewielu powszechnie dostępnych rozrywek ze świata zachodniego w mrocznych czasach stanu wojennego i kryzysu gospodarczego w Polsce schyłkowego PRL-u. Szczególną rolę wśród tych gatunków pełniła muzyka pop jako najbardziej przystępna i ciesząca się uznaniem wśród szerokich rzecz fanów. Przy tej muzyce odbywały się prywatki, młodzież tańczyła w jej rytmach na dyskotekach, a także przeżywała różne ważne chwile w swym życiu np. swe pierwsze miłości. Ja nigdy nie byłem zbyt wielkim fanem muzyki pop i pokrewnych jej stylów, a już na pewno nie w tamtym czasie. Obecnie lubię niektóre z albumów pop z lat 80. bardziej niż w młodości. Ale nawet jak nie słuchałem zbyt entuzjastycznie takiego repertuaru, to pamiętam pierwsze prezentacje w audycji klasycznych już dzisiaj albumów z kręgu tego rodzaju muzyki. I trzeba powiedzieć, że niektóre z tych płyt np. taki „Thriller” Michaela Jacksona czy też „Welcome To The Pleasuredome” zespołu Frankie Goes To Hollywood, to faktycznie autentyczne ponadczasowe popowe arcydzieła. Do tej listy na pewno trzeba by dopisać także przynajmniej z dziesięć innych tytułów z poniższej listy, choćby taki „Purple Rain” Prince’a, ale pozostawiam to każdemu z Czytelników do własnej oceny i wyboru. Poniżej zestawienie płyt muzyki pop i pokrewnych gatunków prezentowanych w audycji. Niektórych może zdziwić umieszczenie tutaj np. zespołu Toto, czy niektórych innych wykonawców, ale dla mnie ten zespół i inne tutaj wymienione, to bardziej pop czy raczej pop rock niż rock.
